What is bigger BMW X1 or X2?

The BMW X1 is slightly larger than the BMW X2 in terms of overall dimensions. Both the X1 and X2 are compact luxury crossover SUVs, but there are some differences in their size and design.

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, here are general comparisons of the dimensions between the BMW X1 and X2:

BMW X1 (F48):

  • Length: Approximately 175 inches (4,447 mm)
  • Width: Approximately 71 inches (1,821 mm)
  • Height: Approximately 62 inches (1,598 mm)

BMW X2 (F39):

  • Length: Approximately 172 inches (4,360 mm)
  • Width: Approximately 72 inches (1,824 mm)
  • Height: Approximately 60 inches (1,526 mm)

These dimensions can vary slightly depending on the specific model year and any updates made by the manufacturer. While both the X1 and X2 share the same UKL platform, the X2 has a sportier and more coupe-like design compared to the more traditional SUV design of the X1. The X1’s taller roofline contributes to its slightly greater overall height.

When choosing between the BMW X1 and X2, factors such as styling preferences, interior space requirements, and desired driving dynamics may influence your decision. It’s advisable to test drive both models and consider your specific needs to determine which compact luxury SUV better suits your preferences.
